Team Woozelbears are Fully Trained in each area
We are very proud to be able to say that every member of the Woozelbears team is fully qualified in their areas of expertise. This supports our vision for excellence in service across the whole centre.
In June 2018, we were told that our lovely little Pug Griffon cross, Marley, who was 10 years old at the time, had an operation to replace his ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his right knee. He was unable to exercise for weeks and became a bit despondent, he couldn’t climb stairs, jump up or have any quality of life whilst he was recovering. Our vets recommended hydrotherapy and we were referred to Woozelbears in Witney. Marley initially had 10 sessions on the treadmill within water, which were covered by Petplan, however, the improvement in Marley’s muscle tone was superb and for a dog who hates water – he actually enjoys his sessions on the treadmill and gets excited when he walks through the door! Hence why he continues to go at our own expense. We were amazed at the improvement in his general gait (my wife and I think that Marley walks better now than he did before his operation)! Marley has made such a substantial recovery for his age and has impressed everyone, you wouldn’t even know that he had the operation in the first place. We highly recommend the hydrotherapy and Woozlebears in particular. The team consisting of Renata, Tim, Lianne and Robyn, are amazing and really love and care about every dog who goes through their door. Without their hard work and dedication Marley would not have had such a successful recovery. We have been so impressed that we have decided that Marley will continue with his hydrotherapy, despite having made a full recovery because we feel it will add years to his life and possibly flag up any future mobility issues he may have. I would also like to add that the ladies in the grooming parlour are equally as good as the Hydrotherapy Team, going about their work in a caring manor and giving good advice. Thank you for making Marley’s recovery so much fun for Marley and us!
