Woozelbears Grooming Terms and Conditions

1. We will do our utmost to care for your pet whilst it is in our care. Our equipment is technically advanced and we always use dog specific products. We can not be held responsible for skin reactions to our products.
2. Woozelbears reserve the right to refuse to groom aggressive or difficult dogs with behavioural problems. The dog owner must agree to inform us if their dog is known to be aggressive or has ever bitten anyone. The owner understands that they will be legally liable for the consequences of all bites caused by their dog.

3. We will examine your dog for any lumps or bumps during the grooming session. If anything untoward is discovered we will notify you but it will then be necessary for you to consult your vet.
4. At all times we have full Public liability Insurance.
5. If matted fur needs to be clipped please be aware that skin irritation may occur from shaving and occasionally small nicks may occur due to the proximity of matted fur to the skin. Woozelbears shall not be held liable for any post-grooming effects of de-matting coats, or any problems uncovered on a badly matted and neglected coat. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the dog grooming (including de-matting) even if the groomer is unable to complete the task.
6. Woozelbears reserves the right to refuse to groom any dog with fleas. If fleas are found on the dog during the grooming appointment then a charge of £20 will be added to cover the cost of fumigating the premises and disinfecting the equipment.
7. Missed appointments will be charged in full unless cancelled 24hours or more before the scheduled appointment.
8. Woozelbears require each dog to be fully vaccinated in order to be groomed in our centre unless a valid reason can be provided
9. It is the owner’s responsibility to poop scoop after their dogs whilst on our premises.
10. Woozelbears cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury to any person or animal, howsoever caused, whilst on our premises.
11. Woozelbears cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property, howsoever caused, whilst on our premises.
12. Prices are estimated on a breed average and dogs that require extensive work will be charged accordingly.
13. Your dog must have a collar and up to date tag for us to legally take them out of our premises for toilet breaks.
14. If your dog is matted and is unable to be brushed out or where brushing is causing discomfort to your dog we have an obligation by the Animal Welfare Act (2006) to clip off the matts for their care and well-being. This can result in a complete clip off. I confirm that I give Woozelbears permission for my dogs coat to be clipped short and accept that on this occasion any personal preference of how I would like my dog styled will not be achievable.
